Lindesberg

Lindesberg, a small town which received its charter by Queen Christina, already in 1643. Make a visit to a foundry or see how a miner lived in the 1800s.

Lindesbergs city lies beside Lake Linde. You can settle for a stroll along the boardwalk or walk the fine promenade "Linde's Lake around" of about 7 km. Visit one of the many small personal shops, or have a coffee at a nice cafe.

The vast Lindesberg is everything from rolling meadows and cornfields to the magical lakes with blooming water lilies. Here you can feel the history full of Bergslagen special character, from the mines in the north down to the plains in the south.
